Fennel (per head)
$4.00

With a crisp texture and subtle anise (licorice-like) aroma, fennel is perfect for salads, roasting, or adding depth to soups and sauces. Both the bulb and fronds are edible, try the fronds as a garnish or in pesto.

Each head sold individually.

Chicory (per bunch)
$3.00

Bold, bitter, and nutrient-rich! Perfect for salads, sautés, and traditional Italian dishes. Packed with fiber and antioxidants, this vegetable is commonly blanched & sautéed with olive oil, garlic, chili flakes, and a pinch of salt.

Juliet Tomatoes (per lb)
$4.00

Sold by the pound. Versatile variety with a sweet flavor and firm, crack-resistant skin, making them suitable for various dishes such as Caprese salad, bruschetta, salads and wraps, and roasted for pasta sauce.

Green Chard (per bunch)
$4.00

Our chard is packed with color and flavor! These tender leaves and crunchy stems are loaded with vitamins A, C, and K. Use chard like spinach, sauté it with garlic, toss it into pasta, add it to soups, or use raw in wraps and salads. Don’t toss the stems, they’re delicious roasted or stir-fried!

Italian Basil (per bunch)
$3.50

Sweet and fragrant. Perfect for pesto, pasta, and salads.

Notes for storage: Basil is sensitive to cold. Fridge temperatures can cause the leaves to wilt, turn black, or lose flavor quickly. To best store basil, trim the stems and place basil in a glass of water like a bouquet. Store on the counter, out of direct sunlight.

Assorted Tomatoes (quart)
$5.00

Quart of tomatoes, 2.5 lbs. A mixture of all the wonderful tomatoes UCAN has to offer. You’ll want to buy this if you’re looking for diverse flavor profile for various tomato based salads, appetizers, and rich sauces!

Sweet Gypsy Peppers (per 1/2 lb)
$2.00

These Italian frying peppers offer a delicate sweetness with just a hint of tang and a smooth, buttery texture when cooked. Their thin skin softens quickly, releasing rich, aromatic flavors perfect for sautéing, roasting, or grilling. They are also delicious as a raw snack.

Sold at half a pound.

Japanese Eggplant (per lb)
